Jakarta Braces for Midday Showers as Overcast Skies Linger

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts a mix of overcast skies and light precipitation across Jakarta today.

Today's temperatures are expected to hover between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius

"Partly cloudy," the agency’s official website noted on Thursday (3/5).

By midday, cloudy conditions are expected to blanket Seribu Islands and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, light showers will likely dampen Central, North, West, and South Jakarta.

As the afterboon rolls in, overcast skies will begin to spread uniformly across the entire capital, covering Seribu Islands as well as Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta.

These cloudy conditions are predicted to persist through the evening, maintaining a gray canopy over all Jakarta areas, including Seribu Islands.

Today's temperatures are expected to hover between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating from 70 to 93 percent.
